My Opinion
Cillian is the middle child in the O’Malley family. He has recently been given control of the O’Malley finances. Surprising given what a playboy he is. A few months ago, his brother Devin was killed. Cillian blames himself, and is having problems moving on. He hasn’t told anyone else in his family as they have had drama of their own. So much so that they haven’t noticed the changes in Cillian and still view him as irresponsible.
Olivia is a bartender at a joint in O’Malley territory, even though she has ties to the Romanov’s from New York. We were introduced to them in the last book. Olivia denies her ties, and is just trying to make a happy home for her daughter. Her older half-brother wants her back though, to make good on a death bed promise he made to his father. This puts Olivia and her daughter in danger.
Cillian is comes across as tough and domineering. For the most part he is unless it comes to Olivia. At first he was just confused by her animosity for him, then intrigued by the action between them. He knows she is hiding something, which makes her skittish around him. She runs hot and cold- this just makes him want her more. You wouldn’t expect it but he is extremely sensitive to her needs and her feelings. When she was in trouble he dropped everything at a seconds notice to protect her. This caused his hotness gauge to jump through the roof.
An Indecent Proposal is a sizzling novel that brings all the feels. Cillian’s concern for Olivia will warm you to your toes. Half the time their interactions with each other will make you laugh out loud, and the other half will have you blushing. This is the third book in the series, I reading them in order. I cannot wait to find out about Sloan’s love especially with what happens at the end. No cliffhanger here, just foreshadowing by a master writer.
