For Della Tsang, Shadow Falls isn't just a camp: it's home. As a vampire who's never fit in with her human family, it's the one place she can truly be herself. But when a myste's ious new guy arrives at camp, Della’s whole world is thrown into turmoil. Chase is a vampire with secrets, who knows more than he’s telling. But romance is the last thing she wants—as she keeps telling Steve, the hunky shapeshifter who won’t stop trying to win her heart. And if Della isn't careful, he just might succeed. When a new case puts everyone she cares about in danger, Della’s determined to do everything she can to save them . . . even if it means teaming up with Steve and Chase, who leave her more confused than ever. With their lives on the line, will Della and her friends survive—with their hearts intact?

Della Shares Her Favorite Foods

I loved food before I was turned into a vampire.  I was fortunate I have a fast metabolism, or I’d have been huge. As you know, my parents are Asian, and I like Asian food, especially Lo Mein, but my really favorite foods were all over the place.  My all-time numero uno is a big, juicy burger. I can still eat a burger and enjoy it, but now, I like it VERY rare. And French fries? LOVED them.  Tacos and fajitas were also two of my favorites. Not to mention ham and pineapple pizza. YUM!

And one of my all-time favorite go to foods to make me feel better? Frozen yogurt, especially mango. For some reason since I was turned, the thought of frozen yogurt turns my stomach. Even the smell gets to me. I miss having yogurt for my comfort food—a lot. My tastes have definitely changed since I became vampire, and I find myself craving blood, especially type B or 0 negative. (If you read Saved at Sunrise, you’ll know how thoughtful Steve can be.) But I can still eat some foods, they just taste different and aren’t as satisfying. For some crazy reason, French Onion soup still tastes pretty good—if I don’t eat the cheese.  I can even down a piece of pizza without thinking about hurling.  And I have to say, I still enjoy sitting around the table in our cabin sipping Diet Cokes with Kylie and Miranda. It’s satisfying in a different, therapeutic sort of way. J

  1. Gotta love diet coke! Only beaten out by Coke zero.
