Beach Reads In August Giveaway Hop


A relaxing beach- reading in the sun with the waves crashing down.  I fell in love with this book.  It was a surprise read, one that I one-clicked because it sounded interesting.  Never heard of the author before, hopefully it will be good.  Holy smokes was it good, y'all have got to read this book.  Oh...if I could have read it at the beach.  While there was no sand to tickle my toes, I still laughed while reading this.  Jessa's love of food matches my own love of food.  The Compass brothers, where can I find one.

    Can you keep a secret by Sophie Kinsella is an amazing beach read! Light and funny, the perfect combination for a relaxing day at the beach. Thank you for the giveaway :)

    I would also recommend Sophie Kinsella books! I love that they are light, especially the shopaholic books!

    Great Beach Reads would have to be the Rosemary Beach Series, because the whole think takes place by or on the water, and has a "summer" feel to it!

    I don't even know what a beach read is, so I can't say. I just finished Finders Keepers by Stephen Kin and loved it :)

    Honestly, any Jenny Han or Sarah Dessen book would make a fabulous beach read :)

    I would recommend To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han for a light read, or The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh for a heavier (is that the right word?) read. I heard Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian is good, too! :)
