Teaser Tuesday (16) The Witchling Apprentice

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"For the magic to choose for us to be together lots of things had to be in line. We had to be compatible, power-wise. I was never going to be able to bind anyone I chose. They had to be able to handle the power of my totem. Second, you have to know each other and want to be bonded. My mark would have never shown up on you if you didn't want me as much as I wanted you. You can tell everyone else that you don't want to be with me me, but I know better," Nate replied. "That's how the bond works."

I like how upfront and open Nate is being with Cassie. The circumstance behind her mistrust of him stink, here is hoping that he finds away back into her life. There is something about this guy that has me cheering him on, yelling at Cassie to give him a second chance.

  1. OOooh sounds like a pretty good moment here! Love those moments where one tries to deny wanting the other, but then something like this happens and it's like whoa!! Lol!
