It is said that if you lie with snakes for long enough, you either become a snake or you get bitten and die. Makes perfect sense. Except if you are a wolf. If you are a wolf, you lie in wait, you bide your time, and right when their guard is down you kill that f#@king snake.
Jessa Lebron – currently prisoner of asshole dragon king.

In the epic conclusion to the Supernatural Prison trilogy, Jessa Lebron finds herself deep in the world of Larkspur, the dragon king. She will have to play it smart and fight with everything to stay one step ahead of him and while at times it’s tough to keep her focus, she will do anything to escape and reunite with her boys, the Compass quads.

Of course, it’s impossible to be where she is and not dig deeper into the curse of the dragon mark. As more information is uncovered, she starts to understand why she, of all supernaturals, was the one to be singled out. And this changes everything she thought she knew.

Turns out she doesn’t know a damn thing.

There will be decisions to make. Tough decisions. Jessa has to be strong enough for the sake of the supernatural races, but sometimes that’s easier said than done.

My Opinion

Dragon Mated is an awesome ending to an impressive series. I can only hope that the spin-off boos to the series are released with rapid fire speed. I am in serious Compass Quads withdrawals right now.

Jessa has just been kidnapped by Larkspur (side note: love that she calls him Larky). Braxton is going rouge without his mate. His brothers are frantically looking for Jessa and trying to keep Braxton from going full out angry dragon on their world.

Jessa is still the strong willed wolf/dragon shifter we know and love. She fights Larky with all her being, Her first goal- get back to Braxton. Her second- defeat Larky. She is able to do the first rather quickly. (Special thanks to the author for not dragging out their separation). Now… how to kill Larky.

The Shining Ones are the only ones who know how to do it. Their response is rather difficult to shallow. Jessia finally understands what dragon mated means. Holy heck Larky is evil.

Jessa does get reunited with her family before the big fight scene. I have to say I absolutely HATE her sister Mischa. As in puffy heart HATE her. She is weak, whining and infuriating. If someone had to die, why oh why spare her?

Poor Max, my heart literally hurts for you. Mainly, because I hate Mischa so freaking much. Tyson and Grace I hope beyond hope that you are a mated pair- too cute, the tension you both experience around each other. Please oh please give Louis and Jacob mates.

Dragon Mated was a fantastic conclusion to an epic series. If you haven’t started this series yet drop whatever you are reading. Dive right into the Supernatural Prison series- you will not regret it.
