***Can be read as a standalone billionaire werewolf shifter paranormal book**

In the next installment of the True Mates series, New York Alpha Grant Anderson meets his match in feisty New Jersey Alpha, Francesca “Frankie” Muccino.

New Jersey Alpha Francesca “Frankie” Muccino never had it easy. Alpha of her ragtag clan, head of her family, and manager of their ailing restaurant business, she’s got a lot on her plate. When a handsome, sexy, and very naked Lycan shows up on her doorstep, sparks immediately fly, but it’s one more complication she can’t handle.

Escaping from a kidnapping attempt by his enemies, New York Alpha Grant Anderson finds himself in New Jersey territory. He’s immediately drawn to the plucky and spirited Frankie, and has no qualms about going for what he wants - her, in his bed. The Jersey Alpha won’t be an easy catch, but Grant is determined to tame the wild she-wolf.

Danger brings them together as the evil mages come back for their revenge, determined more than ever to take Lycans down. Thirsty for retribution, they have taken in a new ally, one that’s closer to the New York clan and could finally bring them the victory they want. Frankie is caught in the middle of the war between the New York Clan and the mages and Grant will do anything to protect her. Can he keep her safe and win her over, or will the mages and their mysterious ally tear them apart?

Romancing the Alpha is a full-length (over 70,000 words) billionaire werewolf steamy paranormal romance with explicit love scenes, naughty language, and shifter suspense action with guaranteed HEA and no cliffhangers!

Although it works as a standalone romance story, this book takes place in the True Mates series world. To understand the elements, I recommend you read “Fated Mates” and “Blood Moon” before this book.

My Opinion

This is the third book in the True Mates Series, I recommend that you read the other two first. Frankie and Grant were both introduced in the first book.

The alpha of New York Clan turn at love, and let’s just say things don’t really go as planned. First he is kidnapped and drugged. Somehow escapes into the New Jersey clan’s territory, where Frankie a rare female alpha finds him. There is a traitor in his territory, one who will stop at nothing to gain more power. Can they captor the traitor before it is too late?

As one of the only clans that is matriarchy instead of a patricharcy, Frankie knows what it is like to be underestimated. She follows the traditions and requirements of the council, but nothing more. She has enough to deal with being the head of her family as well as her clan, keeping the restaurant open and paying the bills. She is feisty, spunky with a side of Jersey attitude to boot. Her family and restaurant are her life and she takes her responsibility seriously. Having been hurt in the past, she is skittish in regards to her heart. She does not want anything to do with the war between the mages, she didn’t even know that they were at war. Grant though is kinda relentless in his pursuit of her which brings the war to her territory, a side effect that neither thought would happen.

Grant is an arrogant, alpha shifter who is not use to hearing the word no. Why would he when girls throw themselves at him after all he is the world’s most available alpha right now. Frankie is different in that he doesn’t impress her much. Or at least that is the impression that she is giving off. Which makes him want her even mores. The chemistry between these runs hot and cold. The sparks are there, but at times Frankie has to put the brakes on due to her past.

This is a book that is a lot of fun to read! The family atmosphere is perfect for both the personalities of the alpha’s and aspects of the clans. It is a mate story, so you can expect insta-attraction or even insta-love. The mystery of the mages and who is behind the attack on Grant makes for great tension as well.

My Rating 4 out of 5 stars
