Teaser Tuesday (37) The School For Good and Evil

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"Once again," said Pollux tightly, " those who are Evil cannot be good and those who are Good cannot be Evil, no matter how much you're persuaded or punished. Now sometimes, you may feel the stirrings of both but that just means your family tree has branches where Good and Evil have toxically mixed. But here at the School for Good and Evil, we will rid you of stirrings, we will ride you of confusion, we will try to make you as pure as possible-"

For as the two girls were pulled to their opposing towers, their opposing desires couldn't have been clearer. Agatha wanted only her friend back. But a friend wasn't enough for Sophie. Sophie had always wanted more. Sophie wanted a prince.

A story about two girls, both destined for greatness- even evil can be great. I liked that they were separated into the houses that I would have put them in and not into the houses that others would have put them in. The one who outwardly appeared evil may not be so bad. All in all a fun read!

  2. I have never heard of this book before, but those teasers definitely caught my eye :) I wonder where they'll go with the no good for the evil and no evil for the good.

Thanks for stopping by my teaser earlier :) Happy reading.

  4. The first teaser is very interesting. The whole idea of a school creating the "pureness" of good and evil makes me really want to read this. I must get this book.

    Thanks for stopping by :)
