Teaser Tuesday (39) Frozen

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Visas were more expensive than a working space heater, more costly than clean water. Acquiring one was near impossible, not to mention the endless blizzards that made travel precarious and expensive.

Frozen by Melissa De La Cruz and Michael Johnston Kindle Location 437

Can you imagine paying a month's worth of salary for a single glass of clean water?  Talk about expensive!

  1. Is this like visas for travel that is expensive, or is it water? You know...If we are not careful with our water, we might just end up paying hundreds of dollars just to get some.

  2. I'm a little confused by this one too! Certainly made for a great tease.
