His wallet screamed out in metaphorical protest, but how was he suppose to say no to that face?
"You are a horrible influence."
“Nothing could be further from the truth.” She smiled, showing off a dimple that could probably cause cavities.

I seriously doubt that Tess is as harmless as she claims. I also doubt that Cole minds too much.
Teaser Two
All he cared about was the fact that she was one, having to deal with her jackhole of a landlord by herself—not that she wasn’t capable, but he was a team player and she was on his team—and two, that she still wanted to leave. Both fave him heartburn. One had him grinding his teeth together in frustration.
